To remove the control panel, follow these steps:

1. Remove the power supply.

2. Disconnect the control panel cable from the PANEL connector on the sys-

tem board (see Figure 7-12).

3. From inside the chassis, remove the mounting screw securing the control

panel to the chassis.

4. Remove the control panel from the chassis.

When you reinstall the control panel, place the control panel between the tabs

in the chassis. Before reinstalling the power supply, be sure to route the con-

trol panel cable under the retention tabs on the chassis wall.
