8 Installation Guide

Removing and Replacing the Rack Doors

WARNING: Because of the size and weight of the rack cabinet doors, never

attempt to remove or install them by yourself.

WARNING: When storing the doors, lay the doors flat so they cannot fall over and

accidentally injure someone.

Removing the Front Door

Pull the door latch and open the front door all the way (see Figure 1-1).

While holding the door, pull the hinge pin upward so that it clears

the door’s hinge-pin housing (see Figure 1-1).

The hinge pin’s retention clip prevents the hinge from being pulled out of

the hinge body.
